FunDza was listed as one of 15 finalists 2014 Wise Awards (World Innovation Summit for Education). 2014’s  global list of Finalists represented some of the most inspiring and visionary work undertaken by non-governmental and charitable organizations, cultural institutions and in the private sector. Inaugurated in 2009, the WISE Awards identify and promote unique and novel solutions to real-world education challenges.

August 2014 – FunDza has been named as one of five finalists for the international Tech Award’s – ‘Microsoft Education Award‘ for ‘providing 50 000 young people in South Africa with access to reading material on their cellphones’ .
