On Heritage Day, FunDza participated in the Youth Day festivities that formed a part of the Open Book Festival. The day started at Matthew Goniwe High School where Equal Education was handing over a library.

FunDza contributed to the library by providing it with 10 copies of each of its three titles, aimed to get the learners of the school reading. Masiphumelele Ikamva Youth students helped to get students excited about the books by performing a short excerpt of the first book in the series – Broken Promises.

The audience was also entertained by Matthew Goniwe’s amazing singers. The new library at Matthew Goniwe High School was opened by the principal. Visitors then streamed in to see all the books and computers that will be made available to the students. And, there was lots of interest in the Harmony High series!
