Another season, another competition! With almost 2,000 responses, we received so much quality feedback from our readers and writers. This is vital information that we use to improve our offering, to learn about our Fanz readers, their lives and needs, and to grow our offering. We’re grateful for the huge response from our readers as this will help us to create a better reading experience for them. Soweto resident Mathapelo Nkabinde reads on FunDza all the time! She kept on laughing on the phone, as we informed her she was a winner. She couldn’t believe her ears! As she prepares for her matric year, Mathapelo says: “This prize money will really be useful to me because I am a Grade 12 learner now and I will use that money for a matric uniform and stationery. The prize money will play a big role for me towards transportation as I am a Student at On The Ball College doing my IT Programming and rely on public transport, which is a train on a daily basis. Now I will have peace of mind knowing that I am safe in terms of transportation fees for the next month and a half. To be one of the five winners for this competition feels like I won everything because it is my first time winning something in a competition.
