US Library of Congress Literacy Awards has included FunDza in their ‘Best Practices’ publication as a project that exemplifies ‘innovative and effective work in the field of literacy and reading promotion’. 5 December 2013.
FunDza has been included on the Nominet Trust 100 as one of the most inspiring examples of social tech innovation from around the world. This list was announced in the FT. 10 November 2013.
The Global Association of MBA’s named Mignon Hardie as one of four global finalists in the MBA ‘Entreprenuerial Venture of Award’ for her FunDza entry, and presented her entry in London. 6 November 2013.
The FunDza mobi network has been selected as an official World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 project. 31 October 2013
