The FunDza Literacy Trust is launching “Faces of FunDza” – a campaign to that showcases a variety of well-known FunDza supporters, all of whom love reading and books. The “Faces” are adding their public and vocal support to FunDza’s efforts to make reading for pleasure a popular and desirable activity. They also provide positive role-models for South Africa’s youth. For each of these “Faces”, reading has added value to their lives and helped to shape who they are today.
FunDza’s first four “Faces” are comedian Kagiso Lediga, writer Cynthia Jele, broadcaster and producer Kgomotso Matsunyane and soccer star George Maluleka.
Over the next couple of weeks FunDza will be showcasing how reading has impacted on the lives of each of these people.
And, over the next couple of months FunDza will feature other “Faces” from many different walks of life and backgrounds. If you would like to suggest particular individuals to be featured as a “Face of FunDza”, please send us the person’s details by emailing info@fundza.co.za.
